Measuring policy influence: like measuring thin air?


Last June I gave a presentation at AusAID in Canberra together with John Young, the head of the Research and Policy in Development (RAPID) programme at the Overseas Development Institute . The presentation, which has been well attended and was open to all staff of AusAID, focused on principles and tools for measuring policy influence of research. John did the initial part of the presentation. I presented two examples of how principles and tools can be applied in practice.
